My almost twenty year old Diesel Mule probably starts faster than a gasser even in extreme cold as long as you let the glow plugs do their thing. And when warm, you almost can't touch that starter fast enough. No messing around with a stupid choke that I really hate.
My Diesel vribrates terribly at idle, and I don't like stopping and starting it for short hops. I use my E-Gator for that, and it actually is the preffered vehicle, conditions permitting.
