4 Year Warranty

I understand the logic of your argument, however price increases are always negotiable. I'm sure the extended warranty was on the horizon with the intro of the 06 models...Kioti should have been upfront with the news to their dealers and let customers decide if it makes sense to purchase th 05 under one warranty (lower price/less warranty) or wait on the 06 to get the improved warranty and higher prices you mention. I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling shortchanged on the 05 I bought. Of course they could always apply the balance of the new warranty to my unit as a good faith effort. Kioti are you listening?

So where does it end? There has to be a cut off at some point. Might as well get over it and enjoy your new tractor. You are worried about something that probably won't happen. OK, so Kioti goes back to make you happier, then what? Get out there and use the thing. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I doubt you will ever need the warranty. The dealers I have talked to over the last year all have one thing in common, no major issues with the Kioti tractors. Yes, a few instances here and there, but overall a very solid well built tractor. Enjoy it!

Extended warranties are and have been available on Kioti tractors for some time. Your dealer can probably add an extended warranty on your recently purchased tractor that will cover more of the tractor than the factory powertrain warranty kioti added, for a reasonable fee. so you can decide now if you want to pay a higher cost for a longer warranty or take advantage of your 05 pricing, even after the fact.

I'm not sure what you mean about negotiating price increases away. The factory does not normally participate in an negoatiation on a tractor sale, the discount you negotiate comes out of the dealers margin, which is already much smaller than most inventory based retail businesses I have had experience in. I do it because I love machinery and have found that tractor buyers tend to be a better class of customer than the american consumer at large, at least in my corner of the world.

Becky Thanks for posting!

I was wondering since I now have an interest in these sorts of things, I was wondering if something difinitive on the warranty from Kioti? I bet some dealers are not even aware of this change as of yet. Will they send us something in the mail? I guess I just would like some proof of the changes, and the new terms in writing.

Can someone the new warranty in exact terms with regard to a tractor purchased by and individual/part time ag user/commercial?

I believe the terms are different for each type of purchaser.

Will the loader still be considered separate from the tractor on these warranty changes.

Thanks
Jay

I can not imagine a better group of dealers then we have on this site. Your willingness to share is just outstanding. Thanks Bluechip.

One last question. If a tractor is purchased and was registered for partial ag use, would it be considered rental commerical, or would it receive the longer warranty period?

Thanks again
Jay

part time farming is the same as residential/gardening etc.
Commercial would be like a landscape company, plumbing or electric contractor, builder etc. (usually sold to a buisness and often run by employees) rental is self explanitory.

What's your point? Would you like to see Kioti owners have problems? Sure sounds that way. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Can't we all agree that a move such as this shows that the manufacturer of any product - tractor or otherwise - has confidence in their product? I hope you don't need warranty work on your tractor.

Homeowner warranty.... 4years the first 2 "bumper to bumper"

I looked on the website and it indicated a 1500 hour limit on the commercial, but I didn't see any hour limitation on the consumer/homeowner warranty... just the four years? Did I miss something?

and I come in from the heat and try to get caught up with TBN
and it's gone crazy around here. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Not at all. I've used my Kubota warranty before with no problem and, I certainly don't hope at any time I have any problems, especially when growing season has arrived. I was inferring to Highbeam's loader problem and the cure whatever it is. All machinery is fallible no matter what type or brand it is.
