does anyone know how to contact Paul Short of Specialty Repairs?
He doesn't allow emails on this site, no button to send him a private message, and his website
does not have contact info other than site address.

He and I have the same tractor and I know he makes adapter plates for non oem seats.
But I don't seem to be able to find out how to contact him.

that sounds like the thousand dollar one....no. I'd love to put a simple $350 Michigan seat in there but clearly the mounts are not compatible.
Kubota now makes a nice optional suspension seat on the new L6060, saw one at the dealer, but that's a grand from Kubota and they have to find out if it fits.
Not interested in spending that much money; I'll buy a seat cushion first.

I took his phone number out of the post, but left in the route I took to find it.

Once upon a time I had come upon an accident and one of the people involved was pinned in his truck. I stay with him until the cops arrived (2 hours). In that time I had found out the town he lived in, born and raised. When I got home two weeks later (I am a truck driver too), I called 411 for his town and the operator told me that there were 8 people with his last name, I took all 8 numbers down and started phoning. The town he lived in wasn't that big, so I knew for sure that one of the numbers would be his or someone that knew where he was. I found him after the 3rd call.

It's made by Grammer. As far as I know, there's nothing special about it. Here's a link to it including pictures/model information.

If you're looking to put it in an L40, I believe the seat pans are different in the L60 so I don't believe it would work without modification of the pan.

I don't think he is making adapter plates. It is actually a modification of the seat pan in the tractor. It is a matter of cutting the bottom,bending down so it is level, and welding in some new side pieces. It is not that hard to do. I did my own by looking at his pictures when he did it.
