Just an FYI.
My M85 starting blowing acc. fused and the 3rd function stopped functioning in one direction. Upon investigation I found A solenoid hanging by the wires from the factory valve assembly.
To make a long story short, check your valve assembly. Its cap nut is plastic and not secured on.
