Hello!
Many times an issue will hit us and not always does someone find it, and fix it and post it.. so here is mine..
The factory 3rd function on the 359c wasn’t working with a new grapple.. so I wondered if it was a blocked hose, etc
After checking everything I could think of, I started tracing cables. And hoses.
On the factory kit it is an electrically actuated system.
So I turned the tractor off, set the ignition to accessories, and clicked the button. I should have heard the actuator.
I didn’t.. under the cab in a very specific area is a “relay”. As I was checking the wires, and tracing them, a connector popped loose. .. after significant effort. I got it back together and everything worked..
Tips—-
Put a tool kit on the tractor with the following.
9,10,11,12,13 mm open and boxed wrenches.
A small ratchet set with the same.
Some dilectric grease.
Regular pliars, medium and large channel locks.
Electric tape, a couple pair of disposable mechanic rubber gloves and a small roll of shop towels.
