3pt won't lift fix

Thought I would post an interesting resolution for anyone struggling with their 3pt hitch not working. Recently had a Mahindra 5010 cab that was working fine and then one morning the 3pt would not lift and the rear aux plugs wouldn't work either. Loader worked and its a HST so it did move. After two days of troubleshooting, decided to replace 3rd function WR Long joystick switch because it just didn't feel right for the grapple and it had been acting up. Come to find out the $25 switch was the culprit for shorting out the rear hydraulics. Still don't understand why since the grapple actuator is electric and the 3pt is mechanical. Regardless, all is working as expected with the switch change.

Possibly the malfunctioning 3rd function switch caused solenoids to operate irrationally and there for block the hydraulic flow to rear and diverted flow to "tank"... As generally 3PH is last hydraulic operated function on most tractors....
