Since I'm in the process of building a dethatcher and was looking for the plans to get some ideas, I happened to come across what looks like MadReferee's post on building a dethatcher. I haven't read through the whole post but it looks like it should help those looking to build a dethatcher off his plans. It has deminsions in the post to help with the size along with some pictures.

This thread is like the Energizer Bunny of threads. It started in 2004, the OP has since passed away (RIP) and I don't believe the
plans are availabe any longer. Does anyone know for sure? If so, may I have a set?

With this many interested, we ought to be able to come up with one!

I had one on the front of my 420 riding mower, worked great, thatch and mow at the same time, worked so well, my plan now is to mount a john deere dethatcher, to the front of my 790, so I can mow at the same time,

I bought the standard JD dethatcher, added extensions, and, now I need fabricate something to attach them to front of the tractor, using the supplied lever to raise and lower by hand,

Anybody ever try mounting one on the front?
