I have a 50 gallon pto driven with 8-10 foot boom and 7 nozzles. One mix of 2, 4D in 50 gallons does 4 acres. I get the 2, 4D from Tractor Supply. That 2.5 gallon jug of 2, 4D will do my 9 acres and then some. Sometimes I add a wetting agent.

As others mentioned you need to rinse stuff out and oil your rollers otherwise you end up taking the pump apart to free it up. We spray once in a while meaning every few years once we got the original problem under control. Spot spraying on the off years.

Good info JimRB! The mix ratio was something I was certainly wondering about... And noted on rinsing the pump, couple of folks have mentioned that. Appreciate it!
