3Pt Adjuster link IHC 424

What other tractor adjuster links will work to replace the right side adjuster on a 424 3 point hitch? I'm sure the 444 will, but will the X/54/x64/74/X84/x85 series work?

Mine is about worn out.

I looked on Case/IH parts list for the adjuster for your tractor. They make 2 versions. One like yours, and another that the crank is almost verticle, out the top, but at a slight angle. Looks to be a little more user friendly from the operator's seat.

I googled the part number, for one like yours, and noting appeared. However, the other assembly came up with many results, and are used on lots of models.

New aftermarket adjuster assemblies can be bought in the $80 to $90 range, from just the few I checked out.

I checked with A&I aftermarket and they are only showing the crank lever coming out the top for the 424? That is unusual. Ken Sweet

The one from the top would not be bad it would be easyer to reach from the seat. When I looked I didn't see any on their website.
