Wen - I had missed what he said about the level being correct, but oil sputtering out sounds like more than just normal flow being returned. I don't know what it could be, though, at this point, without actually being able to see it.

BillA - Sorry you're having trouble with it - I know how frustrating it can be to have something wrong with your equipment. Thanks for keeping us posted, though. This is how we all learn.

Based upon my description of the problem, particularly that drops of transmission fluid shot out of the transmission filler opening when the 3 Point lift handle was placed in the up position, the dealer believes the cylinder packing has failed. The tractor was picked up today. I'll post the result of their repair work when I know it.

I suspect your dealer has a handle on it by now. Sorry you had problems, but I'm glad you've got the fix in the works. These things happen. Thanks for keeping us posted.

Bill I have a B8200 and my hitch only works after the transmission is well warmed up- The fluid level is ok but it loks like its got water in it. Any thoughts?
