Has anyone replaced the non-tilt steering column with a tilt steering column on a current production JD 3E series tractor? If so, do you have a parts list and approximate cost?
Alternatively, has anyone fabricated a bracket to allow the seat to slide rearward a couple more inches? The fuel tank really limits what can be done in terms of sliding the seat, but I'm trying to figure out a way to make the 3E a little more comfortable for my 6'2" frame.
