3520 MFWD question:

Hey all, I have a question for you. Where is the MFWD Speed Sensor located on a 3520? I get an intermittent Error code 06 which means loss of signal from the speed sensor. I have a hunch that, because it's intermittent, it might be a loose connection. I would like to start at the sensor and work my way back to the controller (cluster) and check all the wiring as I go but I can't seem to find a diagram showing the location of the sensor. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it is on the left side of the tranie and about 6" away from the drain plug,up and back a bit.

Look at it agian to day and it is on the rights don't know why I was thinking left side???

I checked today (it finally stopped raining!) and you were right. On the right, just above and in front of the PTO shaft. Sure enough, the plug was loose, looks like it might not have been plugged in completely at the factory/dealer and then it got pulled loose while I was working. Cleaned it up, sprayed it with some WD-40 to make sure it was dry, plugged it back in and no more problem.
