Hi - my first post on TBN.

I recently traded in my 770 for a 3520 w/cab. I think I'm up to about 40 hours now on my new tractor. I just purchased (6) R66949 40 lb front weights. As I understand, the mounting bracket is supposed to hold 4 weights in the middle and one on each end.

Well - I can only fit 3 in the middle. I can't shoe horn in the 4th. It looks too narrow by about 1/4". Is this normal?

Thanks.

The 3x20 Series specifies 5 quick tach weights while the 4x20 series specifies 6 weights. Looks like you have one too many. Installing the front weight bracket extension will permit you to use up to 12 quick tach weights.

Thanks - the owners manual led me to believe that 6 would fit. Looks like I'll have to find something else to buy when I return 1 weight to the dealer.

BigKahuna, yea the weight bracket just defies all common logic. Who kows why they set it up the way they did???

Sincerely,
Dirt
