Hi - I don't know a lot about tractor hydraulics so please excuse a few dumb questions......

Can rear hydraulics be added to a 3510i? Mine has a FEL and of course a 3pt hitch but I've started to think about uses for rear hydraulics. Is this an expensive add-on?

Are extra hydraulics needed to use a grapple on the FEL instead of the bucket? Is this an expensive add-on as well?

The 3pt hitch arms raise and lower fully with only a short movement of the control lever. Is there a way to adjust this so the full range of the control lever is used, not just the top 3 or 4 inches? Wouldn't that give me better depth control on my scraper blade for example?

No dumb questions allowed! :D

Rear hydraulics can be added. Expensive? Depends on what you think expensive is. To add a set of ports on the rear would probably cost $200 - $300 depending on your valve selection, and what other hardware like pipes and fittings that you'd need.

A grapple can be plumbed to use a dedicated hydraulic circuit for its operation. Some people opt to add an electrically controlled valve mounted on the loader to toggle between having the FEL joystick control the bucket curl function and grapple functions.

Not sure on this one. For your other questions, I'm sure you'll find a lot of answers to your questions in the Hydraulics forum. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/hydraulics/

MicroPilot - thanks for the reply. Very helpful information and is much appreciated.

$200-$300 for rear hydraulics is not bad at all. I was thinking it might be in the $800-$1,000 range.

I'll check out both options for operating the grapple and the link to the hydraulic forum.
