329D fuel consumption

Renting one for a week this summer, and I'm starting to think the fuel bill may be as much as the rental.... which is a huge issue!

Anyone know what they go through per hour or per day?

Usually fuel consumption is directly related to the work that gets done, so don't understand why it would be an issue.
What do you plan to be doing with it and the hours running?

Mostly graveling a trail. Round trip to the gravel pile will average 1.5km... so mostly traveling.

Dump truck's not an option.

Yeah, the plan is to smooth the trail starting closest to the gravel pile and working my way out... so shouldn't be too bad. I am getting a kidney belt though. LOL I figure the first day might be fun... the rest will just turn into work.

AT WOT about 2 gallons per hr . Could be less since you are traveling most of it .
