3215 3 point hitch

Question for you fellow 2815/3215 owners. When you raise the 3 point hitch all the way with the control lever, can you still manually lift the 3 point arms at the ball ends up about another 2"-2.5"? In other words do you still have some up play in the hitch or is it up as far as it can go? Thanks.

Yes mine still has play and according to the manual this is supposed to be there, if it isnt you can break things.
