3165 PTO Not working

I have turned on my PTO on my 3165 and nothing. I am not too mechanical but I would like to figure this out. Where should I start. There are no belts turning, as well as the drive shaft. Any advice would be helpul.

Check to make sure the PTO belts are not broken or jumped off the pulley. Your PTO is vacuum operated so next I'd check the vacuum lines.
If the lines look good the actuator may be bad but you'll need a vacuum tester to check it.

I just had the same problem on my 3225. Worked fine Monday but not yesterday. had voltage to the solenoid and vacuum to that point. Unhooh your tube to and out of switch hold tight together after engine start up and try pto . If Pto works its the solenoid, cub won`t sell just the solenoid-you must buy the complete kit including the tank and switch--$124.00 qwote. Go to NAPAPart #2-19226 it1s almost the same . wiring plug same just cut the double plug to make connection ----$13.00 NAPA
