I know of no repair manual for the shuttle cluck, but I do have the exploded-view parts manual, which is part of the dozer parts manual. I can email you the pdf file if you like.
Well, I will acquiesce for the sake of brevity.
Metal against metal without lubrication is wrong. Here is the Yuchai steering clutch. The early steering clutches had riveted friction media, the later have the bonded sintered bronze composite which are considerably thinner, hence seven instead of five. #15 is just a spacer/washer. You have to remember that many parts sales people have never even seen the parts they are selling.

Hi All,
Rather than start a new thread i thought that it was better to continue this one as it is the closest i have found that is the same as what i have been going through.
I am located in Australia and working on an East Wind YCT-306 3 Ton Bulldozer also known by many other names.
The dozer has had a steering problem sometimes it would have no drive on one side, and when you did get it to engage it would feel as if it had a bearing failure (notchy)
So far i have lifted the ROPS and removed the gearbox from the clutch housing out the back of the unit. I have also removed the final drive units.
Hoping that some more people have done this and interested in there input.
Pictures so far,
