3038e will not start, need help troubleshooting!!

I'm having an issue with my 3038e and its driving me crazy. For some reason I posted under the general folder so I thought I would share a link here in case any Deere guru's only sit in here and not venture out to other areas of the forum lol.

Cleaned all battery cable connections.. i.e. removed and wire brushed them? That or sounds like new battery time again... again.

I'm going to multimeter everything tomorrow. hopefully i can narrow it down with that

the only thing with the battery is i tried jumping with a running car and nothing.. of course i didn't leave it on too too long..

oh i also took the battery out of the car and put it in the tractor.. with no such luck.. but its an old battery too lol.

I had a dirtdobber try to build a nest in my key hole on my 3038e. I cleaned it with wd40 and a vacume. Never got everything completely out of there... I ordered a new starter switch but in the mean time I had to push the key an extra quarter inch in the switch to get the tractor to start. It was a I know I am getting a new switch anyway so let's be a little more aggressive approach even bent the key some. But it worked like a charm.
