I'm looking for the boom width (distance between right and left boom arms) on a 300 loader. If anyone has one and can pull a measurement for me, I'd appreciate it. Please specify the measurement... outside to outside, inside to inside, outside to inside, etc. I don't know if the 300X and 300CX share the same dimension, but I really need to know for a 300.

Thanks

I have 300cx, i think they are all the same. I'll get a measurment later.

What do you plan to do?

Thanks.... I'm looking into converting my 70A loader from pin-on to JDQA using 300 loader parts. I need to compare the 300's width to the 70A's width to see if one of the parts is "off-the-shelf" or if it needs to be a custom.

Contact Artillian Pallet Forks for John Deere Tractor Loaders

This guy designs and builds components for most of the JD compact loaders (including the 300 series). I'd bet he knows every measurement regarding your referenced loaders. He may even manufacture the components to convert yours to a quick attach.

Well, let's open this up a bit. Checking part numbers, I see that 200x, 200CX and 300 loaders all use the same lower bucket pivot pin (aka: timing bar). So, they all have to share the same width between the boom arms. Surely someone out there has a 200X or 200CX that they could pull a measure on. It sure would help me out.....

Sorry it took so long, everytime I thought about it I was back in the house, my loader is under snow right now but I measured it today, a little less than 37.25" inside, this was right down where the curl cyl rods attach to the link below the tubular cross member on a 300 cx

Mechanos, did you make any progress with this? I'm thinking about doing the same thing with my Koyker pin-on loader. I wanted to see what you had done.

Thanks,
Rob
