3 shots for help

I was taught that the saying was "Leaves of three let them be". This is a reference to poison ivy. Anytime I get close to the plant or any smoke from someone burning a brush pile
that has ivy in it, I break out in a bad rash.

Knew of three shots for help, but the three head light flash,for radar is a new one to me.
This one I will deffinately remember!!!

Stay safe,on the road,in the fields or just puttzing around.

I knew about the three shot SOS, but you got me thinking. Around here we are also limited to three rounds. Three shot volleys are quite common and I never give them second thought.

So maybe in canada, they should fire 30 rounds to get some attention.

I guess most of you never saw a three pack of 12 guage shotgun flares, sold for distress, to be carried in hunting coat? What about a resulting fire? Several marine flare guns also had a pack of 3 flares. Firing at night around the house, sometimes results in a phone call from neighbors? I just try not to fire too fast...

Three shots would not even be noticed in my area.

A whistle on the other WOULD be noticed. As long as you had wind, you can blow.

I don't think enough people know about it. Me, I'll grab my iPhone4, course I never to anywhere near where the is no cell tower!
