3 PT. HITCH NOT RAISING

My 3 pt. hitch is only raisng up about 2 inches, and is slow tractor only has 20 hours on it, the FEL works fine. i know there is an adjustment knob under the seat for the 3 pt. but before i turn it i wanted some input, tractor is still under warrenty so i could take it to dealer if this is a major problem. thought maybe there was a simple slution. please respond if you got the answer.

Yeah I would consider the 3pt raising only 2 inches a problem. You know there is an adjusement knob under the seat, so turn it. What does your owners manual say. On my tractor the adjustment is for speed of drop and if it closed and you try to raise the 3pt you will ruin it. I suggest turning the knob CCW a couple spin and gently see if your hitch responds better.

THANKS TO THOSE WHO REPLIED, ALL IT WAS AND THIS IS EMBARRASING IS THE PIN HAD COME OUT ON ONE OF THE ARMS. ALL SET, PLOWED WITH IT TODAY BUT THANKS FOR ANSWERING
