Hey guys i have a ih 424 utility my 3 point wont go down i pulled off cover below seat and found this item it is around 1 1/4 long has a small hole at one end large on other dont look like its broken would anyone know where it might go

There is usually a valve just below the seat that is used for adjusting the rate of descent for the 3 point. If you close that valve all the way, the 3 point will not go down. Could that be from that valve??

CaseIH parts website still shows the parts breakdown for the IH 424, so I would start there.

Thanks there parts layout showed it and the parts that go with it had to tear the control valve out to fix but got it and works great
