3 point wont raise

Yep. All of the sudden my 3 pt wont raise my blade. It tries but wont do it. Oil is fine (46hrs on tractor). We just installed WRLong 3rd function kit but thats all we have done. I finally unhooked the blade and got it to raise slowly with lots of throttle. Any ideas?

Did the problem coincide with the new valve installation? Or did the 3PH work after the valve install, but now does not?
Does the engine sound labored?
Is the valve hooked up (IN and OUT ports) with QD's? If so, unplug them and then reconnect them.

Woops. Its a M7040. I didnt even try the blade till today i guess. Just installed the kit yesterday afternoon. Used the forks today and loaded lots of dead trees but didnt use the blade till this evening. I let it down to smooth off a dirt pile and it wouldnt raise. I left the motor running with 3 pt lever up and took another tractor and lifted up the blade thinking it would stay up but it didnt. With the blade off of the tractor and giving it full throttle, it will raise slowly.

I dont think the 3pt has any connectors if thats what you're asking.

I think the hoses are threaded, no QD's. The fel worls fine.

Well, i guess i didnt try the 3 pt till today. I called the John Deere mechanic that installed the 3rd function valve and he said it has to be something besides what he hooked up. The oil goes to the 3 pt different from the fel. No, the engine doesnt labor trying to raise.

I have the same tractor and WR Long valve. The power beyond port from the loader valve feeds the WR valve and then the return port from the WR goes back to the rear. There are 2 metal pipes under the tractor that are the supply and return for the hydraulics.If the tractor did not have a loader the factory puts in a "U" pipe to return the fluid. The valves must be in series ie-- from pump to loader valve> loader valve to WR Long valve> WR back to tractor return line. Make sure that the return port of the WR connects to the metal line that goes to the rear. It connects close to the rear remote valve. Also check the fluid level, the extra hoses may have dropped the fluid level. Kubota had to add some fluid to mine. Also you can always contact Nelson @ WR Long. Thanks Matt. Got it going. My good ole John Deere mech.....technician had it hooked up wrong! Works like a charm now.
