3 point problem

Gonna sell my b9200 and the 3 point wont stay up on it's own. U have to use the locking wing nut to keep it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

So, you are talking about the LEVER that won't stay in place? Typically, that's just a friction adjustment at the base of the lever.

I had an IH 2505 that I had to chain up the 3 pt arms. It came with
land we bought and was my first tractor.

The IH dealer had it for a couple of months, couldn't find the problem, and charged me $300. Eventually I gave up and bought my first Kubota. I gave the IH to a friend of my son. He found the problem, the wrong hydraulic filter had been installed!
