3-Point Hitch 3 Point Hitch Question/Problem?

I have a 4720 with about 85 hours on it and just noticed that when I have an implement on the 3 pt. hitch it seems to keep weeping down. When it is running and in the full up position, about every 30 seconds the engine will lug down about 1000 rpm and lift the implement up again. I have read everything I can find in the book, but no luck. When the engine is shut off it does not weep down at all. Any ideas? Thanks

Just an idea, but check these parts for slop.
1 thru 4,14,24 thru 29.

I have a 4520, and have noticed that in the full up position, it seems to either bypass, or dead head the hydro pump with an attachment on the lift. Try moving the lift lever down just a bit, and see if the strain or weeping is still there. If so, I am not sure, but that seemed to fix my problem, but I only noticed it with an extremely heavy bush hog (1600lbs.).

Mine is doing the same thing. Talked to the dealer and they will come by next week to pick it up. The warranty runs out in ~3 months so want to make sure it gets looked at before then.

Stupid question , Do you have a draught control setting on those little tractors , Many farm tractors with top link sensing will "compensate" every 10-20 seconds when set in full draught and links raised , older fords will do it and leyland will drop the arms half way and pick back up to the top every 10 seconds or so because draught is meant for ground engaging implements not for long periods of lifting (position) and are quite sensative to weight , You probably know this but its amazing how many people try to plow in position and blame the tractor for the mess ?
