3 point has no down pressure

My JD 4710 has no downward pressure on the 3 point lift arms, with or without an implement attached. However, they do lower overnight with an implement attached. Any suggestions?

Few three point hitches have hydraulic down pressure. Most are just gravity.

Been on a lot of tractors in my time. NONE have had down pressure on the 3 point hitch arms. They could lift only.

Believe it or not but Belarus had down pressure. At least on the ones I saw.

@Coloradokid , As mentioned several times, the 3PH on your tractor does not have "down pressure", but can you describe your issue differently in case we are not under standing?

There is a 3Ph down pressure kit available for 4R series tractors. It might be backwards compatible to the 4720s?
