3-Point Hitch 3 Point Arms Stuck

Have CK20 gear, when starting tractor today (38 hrs), noticed the 3 point arms were in the highest postion. Moved the lever to down to the lowest postion and arms did not move. Tried to push them down with no success. Any comments would be appreciated. Close to 50 hrs service, but still would like to use before having service completed.

Check your drop rate adjustment, usually a knob under your seat. Turn it in/out to adjust how fast the tph lowers. If it's all the way tight, it won't drop at all.

Rob, thanks for the reply, that was the fix. Don't really know how it happened because I have not changed anything. Guess it could have come from vibration.

Could it be the same problem I had? I learned about this phenomenon the hard way, like you. Spent an evening thinking my new tractor was somehow broken. Got the magic trick then started the investigation. Turned out, my young kids had been sitting on the tractor some days before and had turned every switch, lever and knob. This was one I missed. Hope your investigation proves as innocent! Good to hear you got the problem fixed.
