273 ytm tractor

Hi guys I'm new to the site,and a new to me a 273 tym tractor. I'm have a hydrostat problem, I think, it will move In reverse perfectly both hi and low, but when I go to move in a forward direction it lacks power I'm saying it won't even drive onto my trailer..
Has anyone experienced this on the site? Thanks in advance.... Mike

Check the general forums Owning/Operating there is a thread titled "broke hydrostat twice Why?". It is about a 273 and the symptoms sound much like your issue. I hope not but at least it may point you in the right direction.

Thank you , I will check out that thread.. it's looking like I will be needing a new hydrostat unit, the dealer is telling me that it's a nonserviceable unit, lol and a price of 3100 dollars..
