2610 won’t start

I have a 2021 kioti 2610 and I’m having an issue with it starting. I have power so it’s not a battery issue. I am getting a clicking noise on the front right of the engine clutch is in I’m sitting in seat and in neutral There are so many sensors on this thing I unplugged seat sensor plugged it back in still nothing, removed the ignition switch put some warm air to it, nothing any ideas

You might have power but a loose cable will do that , My cub cadet somehow will get loose often.

What is the battery voltage? Clicking could be the starter solenoid, fuel solenoid, glow plug relay, etc

As gunr said, if the battery is ok, a loose pos or neg cable will do that.

I will check battery voltage and starter solenoid tomorrow thanks

As others have said a poor or loose ground or positive connection will show voltage to the solenoid but without a solid connection it will not allow full current to the starter solenoid. It might show 12.8 V but its weak.

Either loose wire is giving a poor connection or your battery cannot support a high Amperage load. Do a visual on all connections, tighten them down and spray and clean. To evaluate the battery health, check voltage before and during a load. You can also hookup a charging jumper cable from your car battery and that should provide adequate amps to start the tractor. If it starts, then your battery needs full recharge or replacement. Cold temperatures also reduce battery voltage.

It was the seat sensor why it’s at the edge of the seat is beyond me I guess I can’t sit back in the seat

Seat sensor? While standing next my/same tractor, HST, I can just push down on the clutch with my left hand, and turn the key with my right hand, and it cranks/starts. Is yours a CAB tractor? Details...

As far as I know, a seat sensor will not prevent a tractor from starting as long as it's out of gear and/or the parking brake is on and the PTO is off.


It will shut the tractor down if you get out of the seat while the tractor is in motion or the PTO is on. Some machines will allow you to raise (tip the seat forward) and use PTO powered accessories.

On my 2610 I can stand up while underway. Do it all the time to look over the front end while approaching a log using the grapple.

I disconnected every ssensor on my 2021 2610 except the PTO because their nothing but a pain. The nuetral switch took the most time because i had to remove the lever on it and anchor it so it was in neutral position all the time. The others i just unplug from the switch and plug them together.
