2550 Tires

I have read some of the other related posts on getting ag tires for my 2550 and still not sure of the right size. Will the carlisle super lugs 23x10.5 work with my rims? Thanks for any help

Welcome to TBN. My CC GT 2544 rear tires are 23x9.5x12,
which means the 23x10.5 will not fit on these rims. The 10.5 means the diameter of the rims, 23 means the height of the tire, & the 3rd number is the width of the tire 23x9.5x12

I had my dealer mount Carlisles AG's 23x10.5x12 on my rear rims. The third number is the wheel size, not the width of the tire. The 2500's use 12 inch rear wheels, 8s up front. I replaced my stock 10s and 6s rear/front respectively on my 2180. The 23x10.5x12s will fit your 2500. They work on mine, although, I do lose the 6th deck setting as they rub against the 42" deck I have.

Yep, actually I have two sets of rears. I have the 23x9.5x12 turfs and then I have another set of wheels with AGs that are 23x10.5x12. I put the AGs on in the spring and fall when I pull heavy aerators and rollers. I prefer the cut with the turf tires as opposed to the AGs, as I cut my grass high and they tend to mat it down more.
