2520 VS 2305

My biggest question is whether or not the 2520 will be too heavy to use as a finish mowing machine on commercial contracts. It weighs a lot more & I don't want to leave tire marks. Can't always wait until the ground is completely dry. Any advice?

Having owned both... The 2520 is plenty gentle on the lawn equipped with turfs. It's a fabulous mowing machine... good luck...

You could also go with the tires used for golf courses. I moving up to a 4310 abnd i have that concern as it is almost 1200 pounds heavier.
