I'm having a strange problem and I wonder if this has happened to anyone else?...
My backhoe for the CK20 arrived last week in a crate so far all was going well until the moment came to actually attach the subframe to the tractor. It looked simple enough. Just hook up the hoses, level it out, back up until it reaches "home", drop in two pins and you're there.
I mean , even I should be able to do ths.
Then this problem showed itself.
The front subframe crossbar went in fine all the way. However, the rear subframe crossbar has about an 1 1/4" to go before I can put in the pins!
Nothing is bound-up, all clearances check out fine, it just seems like the rear crossbar is welded in the wrong spot.
I have also backed the tractor in and out several times just to make sure.
My brackets are mounted exactly as I've seen them mounted on those great pictures posted by Dewave.
What am I doing wrong here?
I've attached a picture of the rear bracket to illustrate the distance that the rear crossbar still has to go before I can pin it in place.
Thanks in advance for any help.

It's hard to tell from that picture. Can you take a few more at different angles. Also take a couple of where it attaches to the loader brackets up front. If you go to Backhoe maybe some of my pics will show something that Dewaves didn't and give you an idea.
I can tell you that it's not unusual for the company that makes that subframe to not cut the holes properly and to have bad tolerances. On the first subframe I got, the mount at the PTO was not centered right at all, and you couldn't drop the draw bar pin in. Luckily, the dealer had another one we could use. It may very well be that the crossbar is not in the proper place, but I can't tell from that picture. Take a pic of the assembly away from the tractor as well so I can compare it to mine, okay? We'll figure something out. John

Are the front brackets in the right place? Not saying the frame isn't wrong, but ya never know. The more pics we have the better. If I had a subframe here I would measure it for you. Maybe a CK30 subframe??

I'm going to go do some errands, and when I get back I'll measure my subframe. I have the 2365 as well, but it's gray not orange. That's prob. the problem right there! John

Thanks for the reply KiotiJohn!
I'll get some better pix with actual dimensions posted by tomorrow morning that may give you a better idea what I'm dealing with here.
I'd like to do it now but my boss has some funny ideas about me actually being at work while he's paying me! Go figure!
Thanks a bunch.
see ya soon

thanks for the reply Kiohio!
CK30 frame, Hmmm...
I hadn't thought of that.
I'm attaching a photo of the front mount. more pix tomorrow.
Anything is possible as far as brackets in the right place, too.
I do have a loader on this machine so I guess that sort of dictates where the brackets are positioned. It looks like all the pictures I've seen of other CK20's.
Who knows? I hope it's just a mistake on my part.
Thanks and see ya soon.

May be just an illusion, but it looks like the subframe is not sliding all the way into the bracket in the last picture.

pcfm, here are the measurements for my subframe for the 2365. From the rear crossover to the front end is 46 1/2" and from the end to front of the subframe is 74 1/2".

I noticed that also. My dealer had to grind in some clearance for mine to "fit" properly. I think that may be the problem. G

Thanks for the numbers!
Your measurements confirm it KiotiJohn!
On mine, the numbers are:
From the rear crossover to the front end is 48" and from the end to front of the subframe is 73 1/2". How wierd, ay?
That explains the 1 1/2" problem on the rear bracket. The overall distance is still a question mark, but oh well.
We'll see what the next one looks like.

My Kioti dealer, (and by fax and phone the Kioti factory tech), agree with your numbers and they've ordered a replacement subframe for overnight delivery next week. I'll keep you posted as the saga continues.

I guess we'll file this under, " Ya see that son, it DOES happen, cuz it DID happen!"

Thanks to everyone for the help and suggestions!
