I have a 2006 ck20 tlb, I have aroud 300 hours on it. I love the tracktor, it is a strong machine for it's size, the backhoe is STRONG. I noticed one day when I set the backhoe bucket on the ground that the bottom pin that the main boom swings on had ALOT of play, I took the pin out and it was worn alot, I looked in the parts manuel and ordered a new pin and it showed a bushing as well so I ordered that as well. I took it apart today to install the new pin and bushing but was surprised to find there is NO bushing in there. With the new pin there is much less play, but there IS play. Have any of you folks noticed how much play is in YOUR main pins? I keep it well greased, but there is no seal to keep the grease where it is needed. I'm just curious if any of you have had to replace your pins.

Thanks, Kevin

Am I the only one with a 2365 backhoe on my ck20?

I have only had one problem with my hoe and that was the braces on the sub frame egged out and I could not get them tight enough , so I welded the braces to the subframe and the hoe itself (problem solved) pins in mine are all tight.

I have the KB2375. My pins are all tight yet with aboout 100 hours of work. When you found that there was no bushing in yours, could that be because it was just totally destroyed and gone or the new bushing just won't fit in along with the new pin. I haven't had mine apart to tell what's there but I would like to think they used a bushing and pin setup so both could be replaced to renew the pivot wear areas. As far as grease seals, there are none. I just grease often and push out any dirt, water, etc.
Just give the guys with a 2365 time to respond. Sometimes you can get an answer in a day or maybe several. Maybe everyone is on vacation where it's nice and warm.

Have you asked your selling dealer about the bushing/wear/pin?

Don't know if you checked this, but I believe the bushings go in the swing frame not the main dipper assmbly.

Well, When I noticed the play, I looked in the "users manual and parts catalog" on page 46 ref. #11 part #38*48 25L bushing-2, however when I pulled it apart I was suprised to find there are NO bushings in either the top or bottom bore:mad:. The top pin is still tight, the bottom one still has some play even with the new pin. I guess it will have to be line bored to accept the bushing:thumbdown:. I was just curious if it was a Monday or Friday kind of production mistake or if all of them came thru that way?
Thanks,
Kevin
