2320 trans/hydro oil

anyone know how much fluid a change takes....book says 3.5 gal....I added this much after draining a putting on a new filter and cannot even see it in sight glass......thanks

i just changed mine had same prob ,when i drained mine i took out same as i put in 2.4 gal with filter change. then there was no oil in site glass so i added more i wound up putting 3 gal in, dealer told me 3.4,then there was oil in glass about 3/4 make sure u cycle everying check it on level ground.

Any chance it's now over filled and your site glass is below the level ?

When i did my 50 hr service I kept had the same issue.. I kept adding oil until it came out of the fill hole.. OOOPS..

I figured out that I had to run the tractor AND the rear pto - once i did that the level showed up in the site glass.. Then i had to drain, run and recheck.. Lather rinse repeated until the site glass was 1/2 full..

also dont forget to have the 3pt in the lowest position..

Hello tootallbilly and WELCOME TO TBN

When you didn't see anything in the sight glass did your 3PT happen to be in the raised position. Just by lowering that will put fluid in the sight glass.

As posted,make sure all your hydraulics are relaxed/retracted,tractor is on decently level ground and it has sit for a bit.
