Just wondering if 2320 owners have any issues with lawn compaction?
The move up from a 2305 or the new 1026R to the 2320 gets you about 200 lbs more tractor weight, but at the same time larger tires.

I searched and there is really only on thread about compaction and it did not answer thew question.

I have red clay soil here in NC. Even with a 2520, I have no problem with compaction.

I too have clay soil which packs like concrete. I have no compaction with my 2520.

Gee I cut 3 acres with a Kubota B3200 with loaded tires and no problem, although I do need to be aware if ground is soaking wet.

Maybe my idea of compaction is different..The 2210 would damage my yard..

I got compaction with my 2210..I went zero turn for my yard..

Yep. It's all in the lbs/sq in. A 20,000 lb snowcat with 5' wide tracks exerts less pounds per square inch than a refrigerator.

In the spring or wet weather I get ruts you wouldn't believe. They are not visually apparent BUT say I mow north/south in wet weather, then east/west later boy does it bounce!

I tried for a couple years to smooth the yard with a 48 inch lawn roller weighing over 900 lbs. Unfortunately the 2210, weighing 3/4 of a ton, exerts far more PSI on the ground than the roller, still leaving ruts. Can't win there but the yard is former horse pasture anyway.

Things stay pretty wet around here until mid may. I just sold my 2305 and moved up to a 2520. The 2305 really for the most part was to heavy for mowing my yard however not big enough for my other uses,so I ended up buying a x530 just for mowing, about 700 pounds lighter than the 2305. That would be another alternative, a dedicated mower, just a thought.
