I noticed lately that when I raise my mower, the one arm lifts and then the other. Same when I lower it. They don't raise at the same time. It never used to be a problem. I only have 40 hours on the machine. Any ideas ?

As well, how high do most you you cut your grass? The is a sticker on the deck ( i have the mulch deck ) that shows the different height adjustment for the deck wheels....

Thanks

mine raises and lowers that way too...but when it's all the way down for mowing it's level.

I don't remember the setting...but I want to say that sticker showing what number to cut on is wrong...if I were to cut on those settings I'd have knee high grass! :D

I have the wheels all the way down and my deck adjusted so the wheels are barely suspended above the ground.....they are only used for anti-scalping.

Mine operates the same way. Once it hits the gauge setting it levels out.

I noticed this on mine also and it seems to have gotten worse as time goes on. I am thinking that the pin that goes through the shaft for the left side is wearing. Since I am out of the mowing business with my tractor, I will prob. not investigate it further.

I could have sworn it used to lift at the same time? But if everyones mower is lifting the same then I guess it is normal ?!
