2305 that refuses to charge. New Battery, Generator 20 Amp, Fuses good, no battery light when key turned and system will not charge. Is there a relay or something besides the regulator that is good. volts comming from the generator, 7 at idle, 27 at PTO. Bulb in battery light is good. I had the same problem with my 2210. I finally traced it back to the ground on the engine. Took it off cleaned it up and it started right up. The other problem I did have was that the connection to the battery corroded away some months later. I was going to jump the battery when I noticed it. Ended up getting anither post connector and it worked fine.
In your case, my bet it is the ground wire.
