Some how I just can't beleive a JD 2305 for 1500 to 2000 less than these prices.

So are you implying that c5er is lying?
No I just want to see a JD2305 with a BH for 13500 .

No I just want to see a JD for 1500 to 2000 than what I paid for the BXs.

What exactly is that supposed to prove? I am very happy (not really) that you got such a fabulous deal on your fleet of BXs. Believe it or not when I bought my 4115 it was actually cheaper than the comparable Kubota. Prices vary by region and what may hold true in one area isn't the rule for another. :)

I have the 2305 and can say it's overkill for the 2 acres I finished on my 5 acre lot. The loader is great for moving stuff around, but the same can be done with a tow-behind trailer. Maybe not as easily, but the smaller machine size on 1/3 acre will be much easier to deal with. 1/3 ac is tiny! I'd have gone nuts if I'd had the 2305 on my previous 1/2 ac lot. Get a heavier garden tractor (aka X300 series?) with a SB, chains, and a locking differential and I think you'll be fine on the hills. And far happier with the appropriate sized machine for your lot. You'll also have plenty left over for snacks to put on the new machine and landscape material...

Who said anything About a BH? When i bought my 7610 almost 5 years ago it was way cheaper then the deer, surprising that is reversed on the 2305 vs 2360.

I am not sure that the diff lock would do it. I made the mistake of driving down the neighbors driveway, which is gravel, in 2wd and skided all the way down. The next time i went in 4 low and it was great. Now the x300 is alot lighter so maybe it wouldnt be as bad.

Maybe i go with a heated driveway and skip the blower all together. hmmm. But I still need to get through this winter so everything can settle for a hard driveway to be put in next spring.

Correct me if I am wrong but this is approximately a 100x160 lot with a house in the middle of it somewhere. I would seriously consider the walk behind SB and no more than a 100 series mower or a top quality push mower.
You may be better served with something along the lines of a Dingo loader made by Toro if you want to play in the dirt. http://www.toro.com/professional/sws/loader/index.html

the 2210 (basically same as 2305) does a great job mowing. And I can see the attraction of a 4wd snowblower... I have the HDAP tires on mine which are great snow tires... My 2210 will mow a pretty steep slope.... BUTT, I wouldna dare to operate ANY front loader tractor on steep slopes, IF I did I'd certainlly keep the loader no more than 1 inch above the ground and Id have 200lb wheel weights and rear weights and seat belt fastened!!!!!!!!!

Coming late to this thread but -
$11.5K for the 5 yr old 7610!
Sell that puppy!
Get a walk behind 2 wheeler.
Back in the 70's we had a Gravely that tilled, plowed, and blew snow.

I have to agree with the others here a 2305 seems to big for the lot. How about a Honda trac drive snow blower (You can use it to hold you up) and a small mower ?
