2305 Trans issues

I was using the tractor and got off while running (put in neutral) and when I got back on it wouldn't move in reverse and just creeps fwd. Checked fluid, debris, broken line, linkage etc. Don't see anything. The loader, pwr steering, PTOs & 3 pt hitch all work. Pedals feel soft and don't come back to neutral position on their own? Trying to find a diagram of the linkage and pedal to make sure a pin didn't fall out or something simple like that before going to dealer. Owners manual lacks detail photos.

I'd appreciate any insights/help!

Hmm! Never had that problem before. Your probably on the right track as for the linkage. I assume you are getting the same result in high or low gear. Hang in there, someone will come up with something. :thumbsup:

I had something similar happen in the winter when snow and ice froze around the linkage.

I would look to see if a stick or trash is stuck in the linkage.

Thanks all! It was the linkage. The pin connecting hydro drive lever to the rod fell out. I actually found the pin and washer in the leaves where I was working. That was definitely a blessing!

Yep! The parts are #29, #5 & #3. Somehow the spring clip pulled out??? Getting the pin back in was a bit of a challenge. Not much room for your hand.
