2305 Diverter Valve Kit

I have the independent lift on my 2305, and am lazy so I'm thinking of that diverter valve kit.

Local dealer wants $353 for the kit, plus $90 to pick it up, install, and drop off.

Has anyone installed this kit themselves? How tough is it?

Put one on my 2520 and wasnt hard at all. Just follow the directions.

Got the kit, and went at installing it myself. It's quite different than the kit for the 2520. Even the valve body appears to be different.

If anyone has installed one of these on a 2305, how on earth did you route that hose that attaches to the top coupler? I swore at it for an hour, and packed it up for the night.

I believe the problem is, you didn't call it the right words. I'm told a retired farmer in my town was known for making up new cuss words when working on his equipment.......... I suspect this was his secret for success.

Ha that's probably it.

Here's the trick - don't be dumb like me. Get rid of the mower deck, and remove all of the hydraulic lines from the loader. It's still a pain to get that one hose in where it belongs, but not too bad once you do that. The rest of the install wasn't bad at all.
