224 Tach problem

Cold start, no tach. Comes on after an hour, florida climate. I removed fuses, cleaned and replace. Same thing happens repeatedly, all other gages fine. Im stumped.

I believe the tach has a sensor up by the flywheel. Probably just a bad chinese part.

Might be just bad setting on the sensor. Back off the sensor. Gently screw it back in till it just touches the flywheel, then back it off, I believe about a 1/2 turn. Try that.
