After three seasons of shaking up my innards on my rough yard and experimenting with different tire pressures I finally found a combo that works. Mind you this will likely only work well with the optional "HDAP" ATV tires that are on mine. I had tried running with 10 psi on the fronts and 7 psi on the rears with some degree of success but still bouncy. This years dry weather had made my yard especially rough and so I tried to just let the air out, all of it. Running 5 psi on all tires it virtually floated but the fronts looked so flat the beads might come loose and took a lot of extra power to steer. Surprisingly, I put the fronts back to my usual 14 psi and it made little difference in the overall ride. Running those rears at 5 psi hardly makes any visual difference but boy does it float. So the final best psi combination after 3 years of "research" is; 10-14 psi front, 5 psi rear on the HDAP's. Obviously the deck height knob will have to be set different and you should check the front/rear level of the deck to make sure the front of the deck is level if not slightly lower than the rear for best cut. No seat mods necesary. Note; full speed is still bouncy but you don't get a decent cut at 8 mph anyway. This ride is good up to about 5 mph which is about right for quick, quality cut.
