I've also had this behavior with my 210 loader on my 2210. It digs just fine, no unwanted upcurl or downcurl. But when I curl it all the way down to try to use it as a blade to drag backwards over some dirt or something that I want to level, it might as well be a wet rag. Its useless. I've had some sucess by not going to the max but leaving it at a 45 degree angle or so but it still doesn't work like I'd like. As others have said, it just seems like air in the cylinders instead of hydraulic oil.
