I can see that a couple belts are missing.
Is that some old net wrap hanging?

Nope thats new roll,my net rides on back. Yeah two belts broke and the third will need fixing also. I had to cut that grass/net ball out. What started it dont know but it all happened when had full bale and was tieing bale,my monitor started beeping at me like it had in the past like net wasnt tieing but whole time guess it was and balled under belts enough pop both. This is picture after took belts off that was hanging and cleaned some hay out cause last bale didnt get tied.

I forgot to post, so this is old news.

We cut the first week of June. Started mowing on that Monday, finished baling on Saturday. 75 4x5 rolls. Not a bad start.
We were able to get it all baled without rain, but the humidity was awful that week. I don't think it ever dropped below 50%. By 7pm, the dew would be rising and I would have to stop baling. Couldn't start the next day until after noon.
I managed to get another 4 tons of fertilize put out as it started raining on the following Monday. That was great, but it hasn't rained since. Maybe we'll get some in the next few days.

well things went south, didn't get done and now it's raining

Aw don't feel bad as you're not by yourself. I've got 60 acres of fresh cut Coastal getting the "dust" washed off of it. I'm thankful I got 630 rd bales & 500 sq bales baled this year with no rain on it. I drove around this AM and saw several of my neighbors fields cut down. Hay yields per acre are a lot better with rain than a drought. I dumped 3.5" of rain out of the gauge this AM and it's still raining!!!!!!!!

We have been in overdrive the last several days trying to stay on schedule. We have been blessed with rain so far this season, so when we do get a few open days there's no stopping, but I like the fast pace and 18 hour days. Depending on the time of day and the weather, we have jumped from combining grain, baling straw, cutting/baling hay, hauling hay/straw, planting and spraying.

Nothing like the glow of burning straw (didn't bale everything) in the moonlight, but since this is a hay thread, here's a few pictures of some of the 175 4x6 bales (hay) we somehow managed to roll without getting wet last week. The good lord was looking after us.
