Hello Everyone,
This is my first post here. I've been lurking for a few years but I've just now registered. I found what looks to be a really nice CK20S with 150 hours on it. I haven't bought a tractor before and would like some tips on what to look for. I know my way around cars/boats/planes/motorcycles but this will be my first "real" tractor. My main concern is testing the HST and hydraulics. What do you guys recommend I do to make sure its all working correctly!
Thanks

Welcome to TBN...........................

At 150 hours it's not even fully broken in yet. Just make sure the previous owner had the initial 50 hour service done. Not sure on a CK but on most brands the next service will be due at 200 hours. I'd guess the HST and hydraulics will be fine and in good order. Not much to test the HST, drive it around in all ranges, listen for unusually loud whine, it should be minimal. Hydraulics can be jerky if cold but should work smoothly once warmed up. Make sure to get the manuals with it if you buy. You should get the following manuals. Owners, loader, and backhoe (if equipped). Read the manuals and get familiar with the controls and operation. Not much different than what you are used to working on.
