I went to the JD web site and pulled up the specs for a 200CX loader on a 2520. It gave a max lift weight of 800lbs at the pivot pin, and 557lbs 500mm form the pivot pin. This spec is with a (v) . Under those specs are another set of loader max weights with an (x) that gives another 200lbs or so to the max weights. I called a JD dealer and he didn't know the difference or the reason behind the v and x weight specs. Anyone know why the two different weight specs for the same loader on the same tractor?
Thanks.

The (x) spec is for 1.5m height, 500mm forward of the pivot pin. The boom cylinders lose leverage the higher you lift, so the lift at full height is less.
