2007 Jinma 284 water pump

Hey guys, just a quick question. I recently replaced the water pump on my 2007 Jinma 284 with the Y385 engine at 759 hours and a cost of over $200.00 with shipping. Today I took the leaking original pump apart and found that the bearing and seals are worn out. Does anyone know if rebuild parts are available for these water pumps? If so, how expensive are the parts? If I can find parts, I can rebuild the original one. I'm not concerned about gaskets because I can make them. Thanks for your help.

Can you read any numbers etc on the bearing and seal? If you can get numbers, you should be able to cross reference them. More than likely commonly used parts - bearing being double sealed.

This is what casting sand can do. First gets the seal then the bearings.

Hello Harvey. Just reading this post. Did you have any success with refurbishing your water pump? Looks like I may have the same problem. Is the pump easy to take apart? How do you get the pulley off?
