Bought a 2006 JD 310 SG with 4 stick controls on the backhoe. Used to using 2 stick standard control and not having much luck learning the 4 stick control.

Could there be a hydraulic issue causing the 4 stick to act inconsistently?

Also has anyone changed a 4 stick control to a 2 stick?

Thanks

The owners manual doesn’t even mention a 4 stick control so…?

You should be able to put a set of wobble sticks on it. You’ll also have to change some hoses around to make the pattern right when you’re done.

Browsed around in JD parts and this link may help.. shows the 4 stick as well as other combinations of sticks, more and less.

May give you a lead on changing to a two stick control.
