My hour meter quit about a year ago. Tach and fuel level still work. Now temp gauge is acting up. This is what it looks like after sitting a few days. Could it be the sensor or bad gauge? See pic. IMG_0214.JPG

Try disconnecting sensor and then ground wire against bare metal to see if gauge cycles from hot to cold when wire is grounded and disconnected. If it does, then sensor is bad. If it moves but still wont go to cold, then gauge is bad. If no response at all, then gauge may be bad or wire could be bad. Does it go to cold when key is off?
